So, the law and order party cannot tolerate one of their own going to prison? Same with Scooter Libby as with the Iran-Contra crew. Robert Novak wrote about it here as if this Scooter was on his way to martyrdom and consecration as a Republican saint rather than to prison as a Republican stooge caught with his teat in the ringer. Hypocrites sums up my feelings.
