Update on Daniels' tax Plan

Some news from The Kokomo Tribune. Witnesses find flaws in Daniels plan:

"The working poor, landlords and schools — particularly those in urban areas — all could suffer from various provisions of the Daniels plan, witnesses told members of the Indiana House Ways and Means Committee at the first of at least three hearings to solicit public testimony on Daniels’ tax plan."

And from Taking Down Words, Tax Swap: Guv's Plan May Not Pass As Easily As He Thinks It Will:

"We'll see how much political capital he's willing to spend this session. Or, for that matter, how much he has left. House Republicans remember all too well what happened to them the last time they rubber-stamped the Guv's agenda."
