IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI: Signature Events:
"The IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI will welcome the American Shakespeare Center’s Piercing Eloquence Tour to Indianapolis February 25, 2008, through March 2, 2008."
The residency includes performances for the general public and high school students as well as workshops for area students and actors, the American Shakespeare Center (ASC) will present three of William Shakespeare’s most controversial plays: The Taming of the Shrew, The Merchant of Venice, and Henry V.ASC actors will stage six events: two special free performances for high schools in Indianapolis and Kokomo; three public performances at the Christian Theological Seminary; and a special scene performance, "Shakespeare in the Courtroom" co-sponsored by the IU School of Law-Indianapolis at Inlow Hall on the IUPUI campus.
