I heard most of it. Not much excitement except for buses being driven into ditches. Not sure we needed excitement. Obama came off cool, seriously thoughtful and then ripped into Clinton with a display of sly humor.
Let's think about this for a moment: we are being told that we need a president with experience who can handle the major problems coming at this country and that is not Obama. Doesn't presidential mean being able to keep a cool head in times of crisis, no whining about how hard the job is, and not buckling under pressure? Ok, it did before the current President got elected - and it should again.
Clinton talks about fighting but we all know that fighting does not mean getting to one's goals. It can mean just getting wrapped up in the fighting for the sake of fighting.
The Chicago Tribune published the transcript of the debate under Clinton, Obama debate for keeps: Hold the pillow. Might want to take a look at the comments, too.
Is Obama perfect? Nope, nothing in this world is perfect. Is he better than any other candidate? I think so.
