A day after its mention here, The Herald Bulletin publishes Pancol, Cummings running for Superior Court 2 judge. From the following, I think we can expect the same heavy handed tactics from Mr. Cummings has he has shown in both of his careers:

“From my own childhood and experiences as a youth, an later as a detective and prosecutor, I saw first-hand the damage caused by parental neglect and irresponsibility, and I developed a clear understanding of the need for a strong law enforcement and judicial response to delinquency, truancy, mischief and gang violence by young people who are in trouble and without discipline,” Cummings said. “No one plays a more important public role in addressing those issues than the juvenile court judge.”

Other than being a Republican and having a license to practice law, Rodney Cummings has no qualifications to be judge.
