Labor Day is past and now the fight starts

The political signs started sprouting since last weekend. I am seeing plenty of Ockomon signs but also a lot of signs for Ty Bibbs. I saw a "Democrats for Smith" sign on Meridian Street.

The Herald-Bulletin uses a report of Ockomon's speech from Thursday as its lead story. Of course, it is not online at 12:05 pm on this Sunday. The bit I read this morning has Mr. Ockomon stating the crime rate is going up in Anderson.

The Mayor has billboards out. I saw one on Scatterfield just north of the river. He is touting his job growth and tax cuts.
