Gay marriage or property taxes?

Which one bothers you most?

Both Masson's Blog and Taking Down Words are posting on a report from the Bilerico blog that the Republicans want to bring back the anti-gay marriage amendment proposal for Indiana's Constitution.

I question the political sanity of Brian Bosma and the House Republicans. Are they really willing to put off (well, why not, they did help create the mess) relief to property owners? Are you Republican homeowners truly more concerned about the faint possibility of gays marrying or the reality of your property tax bill is either in your hand or on its way to you?

I suspect someone decided to throw the cat amongst the pigeons to see what would happen. While part of me would like the Republicans so divorced from reality, I do not think that we can count on the Republicans to be quite so foolish.

Also, the Herald-Bulletin reports no Marion County kind of increase for Madison County.
