Taking Down Words had the first post I saw. Ms. Wagner seemed as surprised by the plate's popularity as I did. Then Advance Indiana posts about how this plate is costing us money. stAllio's Way picks up on a similar post from Welcome to Shakesville which mentions even other posts from which I got this post on A Blog from Hell. So we got Central Indiana Democrats/liberals picking on the plate and a northwest Indiana liberal/Democrat picking on the plate and a central Indiana liberal Republican picking on the plate, but nothing from the Indianapolis Star?
I give it credit for looking better than the standard plate but this is fiscal responsibility? The comments made to these blogs include those saying any criticism is anti-religion. Nope, it is not that you babbling baboons. Some people do not like government mixing into their faith. Others do not like subsidizing other people's faith.
However, I found this one line from Welcome to Shakesville pretty much damning of the whole operation:
