Nuvo article on CAFOs

Something that our commissioners tabled for now and maybe they ought to read this article before they go any further. Does Madison County really need one of these? From my reading, I doubt that there is enough of an economic benefit for the costs. It seems to me that the farms in this county are closer to family owned, or, at least, smaller operations. Wouldn't everyone be better off if we promoted higher end farm products rather than going for industrial farming? For the article see here.
