I received the following in my e-mail this afternoon and thought it worth repeating in full:
Dear KCCA Supporter,
Despite the highlighted date of the following news release, the KCCA’s attorneys only received it from IDEM yesterday afternoon, via e.mail, at 1:20 p.m. IDEM did not notify the KCCA board directly despite repeated assurances that it would do so. It is for that reason that we are, unfortunately, only now able to notify you of the ‘informational session’ scheduled for tomorrow.
Also, the ‘online’ edition of this morning’s Herald Bulletin erroneously stated that this meeting will be held on Friday. It will, in fact, be held tomorrow at the times and location noted in the following news release.
Since this is an ‘open’ session without a specific agenda, please make every effort to attend in order to obtain information and make known your opposition to the Mallard Lake landfill proposed for a location directly across from Killbuck Elementary School.
Thank you.
Your KCCA board
