I am reading
Binary Law's
Who’s driving Gov 2.0? and thinking this is stuff that could be implemented in our state and local governments. That is from an English blog ought not discourage us - unless it is true that Hoosiers hate any sort of change. (Take a good look at
NYT: Hoosiers Fear Change from
Masson's Blog for a discussion about Hoosiers and change).
The items listed in
Who’s driving Gov 2.0? could - in my opinion- be even easier implemented in local than state government and in state government easier than in the federal government. Think about it - it is all a matter of scale. Then ask yourself if the effort is not worth this result:
using new media to engage more directly and more effectively with individuals and communities.
Is that not an improvement on what we have now in Indiana's government and what Kris Ockomon is striving for here in Anderson?
