Taking Down Words has a post about Luke Kenley's proposal for a sales tax on services, Expand The Base: Kenley Leaves Possible Tax On Services On The Table. I have been expecting something like this for about a year or more. I have doubts and questions and a feeling that this will wreak havoc amongst the tax payers.
Michigan started a tax on services. I suggest taking at look at the Arborlaw blog to see how it is going up north.
