Chris Matthews Apologizes about Senator Clinton Comments

I caught the beginning of Hardball last night and so got to hear Chris Matthews issue his apology to Hilary Clinton. Since I generally think of Matthews as a loudmouth jerk I was a bit surprised at what I was hearing. Surprised because I did not think he had it in him and surprised that he did not realize it was such a stupid thing to say. By the way, it seems to me that Matthews now spends less time running his mouth and more time listening and asking questions.
