For years, I heard that Andersonians were apathetic to what was going on in their city. These comments came usually from other lawyers or businesspeople. I took the contrary view, as I always seem to do, that Anderson's residents were excluded from any meaningful involvement in the city's politics. Information about what was going on was sealed tight with the Herald-Bulletin acting in collusion.
That is not so true nowadays. We have the Anderson Free Press. We have the forums on the Free Press and Herald-Bulletin sites. Those give anyone with Internet access, access to information.
