Congresswoman Carson died while I was on break. I hesitated writing anything about her death. Not my district and all that. I think she was an unique politician in many ways and her passing is of importance to Indianapolis and Indiana.

Taking Down Words reports that Governor Daniels might prefer putting the special election for Carson's replacement till our primary. Well, that is one way to deny the House Democrats a vote. I wish wiser heads prevail but we are talking about Mitch Daniels.
