"A technology company will announce plans Tuesday to locate its headquarters in Marion, according to a news advisory from a communications firm. Veriana Networks Inc. will have a news conference at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Marion Municipal Building, 301 S. Branson St. The company’s new global headquarters will be built on 252 acres at Interstate 69 and Ind. 18. The announcement will be made by Mayor Wayne Seybold. The company is co-founded by Rob Swagger and R. Ross Cooper. Also scheduled to be at the announcement will be Charles Sparks and Alan C. Tio, representatives of the Indiana Economic Development Corp., state representatives Tim Harris and Eric Turner and Indiana State Treasurer Richard Mourdoch."Today the Marion newspaper reported:

Company officials say its products and services could fundamentally change the way the world watches television, the way television advertising is targeted and the way Hollywood finances films.
I started wondering why Marion until I reached this paragraph (and the emphasis is mine):
At an afternoon news conference, Cooper and co-founder Rob Swagger, a Grant County native, announced plans to build headquarters in Marion with groundbreaking in the first quarter of 2008. Swagger is the interim chief executive officer for the company.
So now my question is: what Madison County native would bring their business back here?
If you cannot think of a reason why someone would leave here and not come back, then we might be on track of finding what needs improved here.
