ACS School Uniform Policy

I am willing to bet that the school board just did not think through all aspects of the uniform policy. Both the Anderson herald Bulletin and the Muncie Star-Press (which is actually an AP story) ran stories on the nursing students protesting the uniform policy. The nursing students need to wear scrubs but get penalized for doing so while the ROTC students avoid any penalties. (By the way, when did ACS bring back ROTC? I do not remember it during my time at Highland in the Seventies.) I think the school board needs to make an exception fast.

Here are the news stories: No scrubs: School system to scrutinize nursing uniform policy and Anderson nursing students say scrubs should meet school dress code. Do read the comments to both stories
