Harry Potter at The Paramount

The Paramount Theatre seldom shows movies so take advantage of any chance to see one at the Theatre. I believe the Paramount has the largest screen in Indiana. The Muncie Star-Press announced the news under Family Series in Anderson to open with 'Potter'.

The historic Paramount Theatre Centre will open its 2007-08 Family Series with the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and related activities at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 22.

Those attending are invited to dress up and participate in a "Best Dressed" costume contest judged by a panel of young sorcerers. Awards and prizes will be given for the best Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore and Hagrid.

Mounds Mall has partnered with the Paramount in a Harry Potter coloring contest, beginning Monday. Contest rules are available at the mall office, Waldenbooks and all other participating Mounds Mall stores, or the Paramount Theatre.

The event also will feature witch "crafts" and an online wizard challenge.

Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. for costume contest registration and the opportunity to take part in all the fun Harry Potter activities.
