Professor Bainbridge comments on a National Review piece by Thomas Sowell. Bainbridge and his commentators pretty demolish the idea. Oddly no one seems to think that the military might act to save itself from Bush. Masson blogs on a letter sent by a retired general to the President about his vetoing the Iraq spending bill. I suspect that the only people who do not know the military has been overstretched for years are Limbaugh's loyal followers and those who watch only Fox News.
