Professor Bainbridge comments on a National Review piece by Thomas Sowell. Bainbridge and his commentators pretty demolish the idea. I suspect that the only people who do not know the military has been overstretched for years are Limbaugh's loyal followers and those who watch only Fox News.
For those who want something more intellectual about Iraq and the neo-con gang (and because I find the blog interesting but have no idea where to put it): Kenneth Anderson's Law of War and Just War Theory Blog.
