Healthcare as constitutional right

Blue Indiana posted a story about Baron Hill proposing a constitutional amendment to make healthcare a constitutional right. I like the idea for nothing other than putting the issue on the frontburner. I disagree a bit with Blue Indiana about who will be opposing national healthcare. I think we will see a fight between different parts of big business.

This news comes at an interesting time. The Sunday New York Times reviewed Sick by Jonathon Cohn. The book details what is wrong with our current system.
