Nestle comes to town

Ok, I missed the big party for Nestle thanks to work, but for once the Herald-Bulletin did a good job of covering it. See the stories here and here. I heard the mayor this morning on the Muncie NPR station. That station covered the groundbreaking for the Nestle plant and they had part of his speech. He called this a turnaround, the beginning of a diversified economy for Anderson. Looking at the photos in the Herald-Bulletin and the remnants of the crowd I saw last night, I got to say that it looks like the town agrees. The last time I saw this kind of turnout in Anderson was for the midnight Fourth of July parade.
