Bauer wants BMV moved to Secretary of State's control

House Minority leader Bauer wants the BMV under the control of the Secretary of State. The Indianapolis Star has a piece on this today. Secretary of Rokita says that it is just political posturing but what else is he going to say? That his Man Mitch's man Silverman has screwed the pooch? If this would make an elected official directly responsible for operating the BMV, then I think that Bauer has hit on a good idea. Bauer makes me wince more often than not but with this he may have hit on a good idea.
